Larry, I believe its 2 1/4-2 3/4" thick. Shoot me an email to kfuknives@gmail.com and Ill send you a couple links. There are some at least 3" thick and they run from 150.00 to 250.00. Not bad considering the quality. I could use your cutoffs too!
