Check this bike out

I just started to ride my bike again to get into shape. I hope to ride the bike for a week long trip next year. It would be nice to carry everything i need. With out worry that i would break down on the side of the road in the desert. I can get a kid trailer on craigslist for less then a $100...

If I was going to buy a trailer I think I'd pass on one of the kid's trailers. The BOB Yak is more expensive but it looks like it would last forever if you took care of it.

Check out the pdf spec sheet.

The bike weighs 27 kilograms. Hmm... let's see... that's just shy of 60 pounds!

you beat me to it, yeah 27.5 kilos is 60.5 pounds!
thats pretty heavy, neat bike though.
I guess if anyone needs to haul gear there are always those little bike trailers.

I tried a bike trailer a few years ago, and now use one for touring. It's a Croozer Cargo, made in Germany. It's a big, heavy, sturdy thing that will haul anything you would probably ever feel like hauling with your bike.

But it has a simple, quick and effective hitch system and it follows you like a shadow... you don't even know it's there. I've done two 400-mile trips with it in hilly northern NY/VT/Quebec with no regrets.

I use a Bianchi Axis cyclocross bike to tow it, and would feel comfortable and confident taking that combination on any trip. The cyclocross bike is extremely versatile. That big cargo bike is not.....
