I’ve always liked the BK2 but I hate the little sharpening notch/choil they’ve added to the blade. When I saw this on eBay and did a little research I knew I needed it. Paid a little more than I would have liked, but still couldn’t be happier with the purchase. My limited searching turned up that is is likely a Blackjack made model. Can anyone give me any detailson it? Blade steel, etc.?

Thanks

This one has the Eagle sheath. Amazing fit on it too. Thanks for the info!

Is there any reason I shouldn’t just use it? I don’t want to beat it up if it’s historic or something.

eff it up :D that coating should be pretty tough - i recall people saying it was very hard to strip... probably good around water.

the eagle sheath is like, the highest of quality. i have a couple spares, and i'd for sure consider parting a "less interesting knife" with one out, with a pancake or other sheath, and keep the eagle. too good.

Coatings SHOULD br hard to strip, they are meant to protect the steel! LOL!

Hence, why I dont understand anybody stripping coated blades…just buy something without a coating…

To each their own

people like that naked stuff, polished and corrosion ready then they complain that it rusts :D
