Check This Out

That BII is just like brand new. I'd say the guy had made very few knives - or none. I'm curious to see what that set goes for, but I'd personally not go higher than $1500 for everything.

Yep!!! I agree.

If the belts are as old as the grinder, there is the possibility the splices are not very strong anymore and will blow up on the machine. Some belts seem to last forever, some just a few years.

Just something to ask if one is seriously considering this. :)

There be some mighty fine pakkawood in that package! :D

He really limits himself by his unwillingness to ship. It all has to be picked up, in Onawa, Iowa!!!:D

Plus, like Mike said above, it's an old grinder. The pakkawood though, that might be collectible old stuff. ;)

Someone could arrange for a company to pack up everything and put it on a truck, but it would be very expensive to have that done.

If I was planning on bidding, that wouldn't be bad though. It's only 2 hours away from me.

I already have that machine, what caught my eye was the forging stuff. You could pay em extra to keep the pakkawood if you won the auction.

Anyone know for sure when Bader last offered the II for sale?

Seems like it was 4-5 years ago, but I could very well be off either way on that.

I remember looking at the BIII version on Pops table at the 97 PKA show. I don't know if they still sold the BII after they came out with the BIII or not though.

Seems a shame, all that good "collectible" pakkawood sitting there needing a home.
I have three or four 4'X4' pieces of the stuff from many years ago.
I thought I had the market cornered until this guy comes along.;):barf:

I bought my first B111 early in 97 as they were first being offered, the B11 was still being offered but was soon droped. I would much rather have a B111 but if the price is right:thumbup: I too think $1500 would be my top price for this, nice anvil.
