Hi all,
hope I'm in the right place to ask and sorry in advance if I'm not.
I'm searching checkering files to buy for a knifemaker friend of mine. I found some Grobet checkering in Sheffield's catalog.
Would love to know if there are better ones and where it can be found.
Thanks in advance.

Got one on ebay last week. I tried it on a knife and it worked great. Grobet file

I bought mine from Brownells for checkering 1911 frames and parts, now I use them on knives. Excellent quality. One thing you may notice, yhe teeth on the outside edges may not be perfectly even, grind them off.
