Checkin’ in after years of inactivity

Indeed I remember you, and am glad to see you back!

I'm a big fan of the BM275 Adamas. I have had the all black, 275BK, since the end of January, and it has been my edc up to this weekend when I received a BM 275BKSN, black blade , tan handles, plain edge. These are some awesome folders. Sure they are big, but that's how I go, so good with me.

I also picked up what is my favorite Spyderco, as the one I previously had was stolen, a Vallotton Sub-Hilt. It also is a bigger knife, but not quite as large as the 275. It is another knife you might want to take a look at.

Thanks for the welcome back comments. Lots of changes between then and now. I had only had one good knife for the last 6 years in fact. That was my Emerson Specwar folder but like I said a friend of mine got hired by the RCMP (I live in Canada now if I didn’t mention) and I gave it to her as a companion for her new career. I had put a lot of milage on that blade in my old career and it needed to be with someone that would need a good blade to count on. I feared she would likely buy the cheapest knife she found so I had to give it up to prevent that. I wish I had been able to keep my Strider and the DDR Gunhammer as well as the other killer knives in the collection but someone decided she was going to claim them as her property in the divorce in 07... I was pretty bitter about that but before I get worked up on that stuff lol...

Anyway, as an update... I was ready to pull the trigger on one of the knives above until I came across the Spydie Gayle Bradley. That knife just hit a warm spot in my heart so I ordered it. It looks to be the perfect size compromise for EDC and seems built strong enough as a tacti-tool without looking too menacing to the untrained eye. My work is done, now for the wait...

The GB in M4 is a great knife. I highly recommend it, it does stain and patina but if you take care of it (which you know how to do) she'll treat you good all day long. Hope you enjoy the knife and glad to see you back mang.

Hey JP, I’m pretty excited for this GB actually. I am looking forward to staining and patina to be honest. The faster that happens the less I’ll have to worry about taking care of it hahaha. I just use em’ now, not as crazy as I one was with trying to keep them nice and shiny. I’ll beat this one into the ground and then buy another one to replace it lol. As long as the lockup stay solid I’m happy. I’m kind of out of the “tactical” knife fad now, I just want a knife that kicks ass and does the intended job well, tactical or not. When the zombies arrive they won’t care if your blade is black and made by Dark Ops... It just needs to be strong and hold an edge. ;)
