Checkout my AWESOME new Becker BK2 Scales!!

Remove the handle scales, soak the knife in a good quality paint stripper, use a plastic brush to help remove the now loosened coating, rinse the blade, put the handle scales back on...

Holy WOW!

And from the looks of the edge, you use that beauty at least a bit too, good on you sir.

I might do exactly that. Then force a patina on the carbon blade. Might look cool.

Hey Mr. Becker,

No need to be jealous - I've got one with your name on it! (Actually, all of my BKT have your name on them).

I have a wood species in mind that I would bet no one has ever used on a BK and would be a one of kind piece.

Not this one - but here's another example : Walnut Burl with my M1 Garand!

Where the heck are you guys adding Avatar photos in your profile? Just spent 15 mins looking around and can't find the option! I want to make my new Knife my pic.

anyone have a link with how to strip that blade?

I used a canned paint stripper on mine, took 2-3 coats. And after you strip you will notice(well I did) ther is alot of grinder marked very very rough, mg next project is smoothing it all out if anyone can give some pointers it would be great
