Sniper, I would say that your first problem is the file size of the pics were too big to start with. That's a guess without seeing the original pics. My suggestion would be to keep the pics you use for movies under 100K, under 50K would be better.
The second problem isn't a guess. Those static lines are a part of the Storyboard you selected from PhotoPoint, not a part of your pictures. I looked at that Storyborad, but I decided I didn't like the way it was cropping my pics, and the whole thing didn't read too well. The solution is to go back to your Movie List, select Edit and pick another Storyboard for your Movie. I also use that Preview Function a lot before viewing the final movie, it saves a lot of time, before you load the full sized movie. I hope this helps,
