Hey all,
This is an experimental knife. I saw a knife somewhere that had these holes in the blade, which are supposed to help keep cheese from sticking. I guess it helps a little, but not enough to justify the extra work involved.

Steel: AEB-L Stainless

Hardness: About 61.5 RC. Sub-zero quenched

Blade length: 5"

Total length: 9-5/8"

Blade thickness: about 1/8"

Handle material: Desert Ironwood burl.

Fittings: Stainless bolts

Price: $300 + $10 shipping

I can take paypal, check, or MO. Please send paypal to 2000pjp at gmail dot com
If using a check, allow 10 business days for it to clear before shipment. Please make sure knife is still available before sending payment. :)

Thanks for looking!

That's pretty cool. Yeah I have seen the holey cheese knives... I think it works because they are factory stamped or something. Making a custom version certainly does seem painful, but nonetheless, that's a cool looking knife right there. I bet it would make a decent petty too.
