Cheesy Japanese show...amazing sword skills

You gotta love the game shows in Japan. They'll put just about anything on the air. Found this the other day and thought you would like to see it. Lots of cheese-ball stuff, but some really, really talented sword work. The cutting of a 6mm flying rubber ball bullet is something else. From a sheathed position, nonetheless.

Wow. That bb cut was really impressive!
I don't really see the challenge in cutting the pipe though, was it just showing how well the sword would hold up?

I thought that they would have a word in Japanese for super-slow...

Wow, I used to play airsoft occasionally and it's hard to see and dodge those pellets, much less cut one. Nice cutting, except the stupid iron pipe.

Very cool! I disagree with seemingly simple cut of the pipe. He did it without going into the wood block, that was the real "miracle". Anyone can chop the tube, how many can JUST chop it?

the veggies blew my mind too. The peas b/c that cut remained perfectly horizontal, and the mushroom b/c he made that cut with a sheathed sword!!! But the BB was insane.
