an older knife,but now I have found the time to film it

what do you think of the knapped on the blade

Very nice. Curious if this is forged or stock removal. I ask because I have taken stock removal, then during the heat treat, smangled patterns in the steel, fooled with pattern stamps (animal tracks) and dimples etc, wondered if this is how your blade was handled. Further curious if such a process would need normalizing after being compressed by hammering. My thought and hope is "so long as the edge was not fooled with." Such blades seem to hold up well... but anyhow, yes, nice look!
