I have been accused of spending most of my deer season hunting for cherry and maple burls. I guess that's a good excuse for coming home without venison. This burl has been in my shop for a few years and I have been overlooking it until I went looking for just the right handle for this hunter. I hope you like it.

Nice knife Gerry! The cherry burl is really spectacular. I like the way you put spacers in the guard/handle too. A little different from your more recent knives and very nicely done.

That's a classic looking knife, the wood sure does add allot of flavor to the handle, beautiful stuff :)
