My latest friction folder; a custom order for someone's birthday gift. Very cool project to work on, design was inspired by another maker and then I tried my own influences on the handle.
1095 steel at 60rc + cryo treatment
Cherry hardwood handles, linseed oil coating
Aluminum backspacer with nickel silver pins and stainless coated pivot hardware
Hammered brass bead with a maroon paracord lanyard
