I just took out 8 pieces of cherry wood with lots of detail in them, out of my pot.
i just laid them out to dry, an they look great. Can't wait to start using them.
I put some wood i don't know what it is, maybe someone else mite know.
it is very dark green and not very heavy. this wood is about 30 years old and super dry. When i put it in the pot, it was like a sponge.
i don't have a camera cause i dropped it and( lk,'k'k'n[;y]et\=\tpttg)

I'm thinkin he's talking about his stabilization rig. Your Green Wood may well be Poplar Sap Wood

I presume you're referring to a vacuum and/or pressure pot for a stabilizing treatment of some sort? Thirty year old green wood sounds interesting too. I no can savvy without pictures.

Being new to this what do they stablize the wood with and how expensive at the Pots? where do you get the pots?
Thanks

Sounds like Poplar, I'm using some right now in a stacked Scandi handle. Works great and the pattern ( I cut it on a diagonal) looks like a bunch of chevrons. We will see how it finishes.
