Anyone have opinions on this store and the product line that they offer? I think asking for a "knife" for Christmas would be pretty shady but asking for a gift certificate to a store would be more plausible. I just don't want to ask for a g/c at a store that only sells crap items.

Thanks!

They have a store in my town, and I find them usually overpriced. However, they sometimes have exculsive models, like one of the Onion/Kershaw SpeedSafe models with S30V steel. So sometimes it's worth it.

The one that I go to carries a decent line of real knives besides the usual "collector" atrocities. The prices might be a little higher than online but I like to handle and inspect a knife and then put that exact individual knife right in my pocket, so I don't mind paying a few bucks more. Best case scenario is when they can lay out 3 or 4 of the model you want to buy and you can inspect them for individual differences and get the pick of the litter!

They have lots of the stores int he Baltimore Area. They offer some nice semi production knives. They also have lots of SAKs and Opinels. As mentioned above they tend to be on the high side wrt price.
