I love to show off knives and today I want to share with you my recent favorites. Regardless of pattern, I love the bone on these new Case Chestnuts.
In fact this is the first series of knives from Case that I want the whole set of. So far I have three down. All of these have seen considerable pocket time. I can't speak too highly for the Trapperlock, for reasons that I've stated in another thread. The Stock Knife has blade rubbing. In fact the other one that I owned, now sold, had blade rubbing as well. No big deal though. I've gotten used to it. I had to search the stores whole inventory to find some good matching scales and my luck hasn't run out yet. I'm picky about that:p Wednesday I will be adding the Muskrat and Mini Trapper to the collection. The swayback is my fist of that pattern and I have the highest praise for this knife. I have to give congrats to Case and T. Bose for an excellent collaboration.
I would also like to get a good look at everyone else Chestnut Bone Case knives. I understand that this is not the first time Case released this color?
Feel free to post pics too.

Keep Cuttin',

I also just have 3 so far. I have the swayback and the stockman, but I've also got the large trapper, and I love it :) Just wish it were CV, but I can make due with this one for now I suppose. I was looking for that trapperlock at my local dealer, but they didn't have it.. I may have to order one after seeing yours :P

Camera is charging right now, I'll have to edit a picture in here in a few minutes.

Edit: Sorry for the picture quality, I'm definitely not a photographer :)

Your Trapper isn't CV? I didn't know they were making SS too.

I wish you guys would quit posting pics of the Chestnuts.. It is tempting my not buying any more knives ...

I had a 6249 Chestnut copperhead some time back, but I sold it to another member.. That was one of the few knives I have sold that I wish I would have kept...

Whatever you do, DON'T post any pics of the mini trap when ya get it, I still have a real weakness for that pattern.. O.K maybe just one pic :D

Do they do other stainless knives in Chestnut Bone?

The colour of the handles is really something.I hope they do a Small Texas Jack in that bone soon, and a revival of the Teardrop Jack...dreams!

There was a small texas jack and a large texas jack made in Chestnut in the 90's.

I have a large stockman (6375) and the abovementioned Texas Jack (6292) in chestnut from the 90's. (The 6375 riding shotgun in my pocket this morning.)

I just got my third CV chestnut, a Trapperlock to go with my large Trapper and TB Swayback Jack (sorry about the crappy pic. Darn camera phone!). Without a doubt the chestnut handles and the CV blades are my favorite Case combo to date.

I may pick up one or two more of them while I can (that CV chestnut Stockman looks mighty tempting!).

Nice Chestnuts All. I really like that scale cover material, one of the better ones Case does.....

I love my swayback jack in chestnut. And at under 60, it was more than reasonable in cv. I am really enjoying carrying it.

Chestnut bone is my favorite Case bone. I have the Swayback and the Stockman. They did one hell of a job on both of them.
