I have not heard anything since JKM passed. I know all of the web stuff that he had around BF is down.
I doubt if anyone will ever fill his shoes, in turn we will never know a place as cool as Chai Cutlery, without a guy like James.

Flatfoot, what Peter was asking about was ChIA Cutlery, not ChAI cutlery.
Chia Cutlery was a Chinese firm that specialized in itty-bitty lawnmowers that were able to follow the contours of odd terrain, such as mini versions of human heads, cats, dogs and sometimes, lobsters and crabs.
The psychotic Minister of Export from the PRC thought that us foreign devils would fork over all of our hard earned cash to groom (what they thought were) our family pets.
The firm went bust back in '97, but I think you can still get replacement blades for the lobster and crab mowers.
