Chicago area knifemakers?

I'll be moving to northwest indiana in 2 weeks. So I would be interested in any makers in the region. I'm a newbie myself.

More in the central indiana region but I'm only about 2 hours away from the land of da bears & Mike Ditka....

Your not that far my ex wifes mother was from there originally. Used to go there to visit the ex's grand parents. Nice little town. I grew up in decatur

I'm close to JasonSCarter (I don't forge though), and Phillip Patton is in Fort Wayne.

Also, David (Great Lakes Water Jet) is in Grainger, IN, which is at the Michigan boarder, somewhat near Chicago. Hope this helps a little
