Do any of you guys have one of these? I want to do a wall mount with a table and was wondering if they are very good.

I have one, it seems to be working well so far, but I've not had it long enough to tell you if it's going to last. I will say that if you have the space and funding, the 4x6 HV saws seem better, in my opinion.

I've used a porter bandsaw with an aftermarket table mount package for 3 years. First saw this setup at the ABS school in Arkansas. Works great for small stock.

Trenru,
I bought one of those a few years back, lasted for about 4 or 5 cuts:jerkit: and then self destructed. Threw it in the trash. Don't waste your time and money.

I got a portaband, milwaukie (sp) clamped in a vice for verticle cutting, drilled a pin hole through the trigger, when off, to support a small pin to keep it turned on.

I took corian and drilled holes where the metal stick figure of a table should be and wala.......a verticle metal bandsaw..........

I got a box of corian on ebay for @ 20 or so, works great for handsanding, making patterns for guards, paddles for kids........just joking.......... I glued the corian onto my table I got from KMG to lengthen it.

corian is your friend, though it is brittle for knife handles, but who throws them down on a concrete floor??????????
