Chicago Knife Show Sept 7-8 going?

Two straight 10-hour days. Enough technical failures to make me lose a few years sleep. First a camera-to-computer USB wire which failed, but not before I was chasing every USB device driver on the internet because of it. As I learned I was barking up the wrong tree. Fixed after 90 mins of internal swearing and lost time.

THEN, my 'trusty' Norman strobe power supply decided to burn up on mid-day friday. Yikes!

After the smoke cleared (literally!) I had a replacement set of strobes delivered to me within minutes. There is a God and her name is Shelia Williams (Lee Williams' wife) The story deserves an in-depth telling, which I will explain soon, but I'm too tired right now.

Anyway, the show was a notable success for me.

The Auction of 100 knives is happening as I write, and the prices realized are more than I was prepared to guess. WOW!

The Tactical Invitational was phenomenal. Talk about great pieces and sales. I think 95% of the fifteen makers sold out. I have many images forthcoming.

Great stuff!
