Who's going to the Chicago Custom Show next month?

Here is a Bowie I'll have at the show.
12 1/2'' W2 blade, Mosaic damascus guard and ferrule, mammoth ivory handle, nickle silver pins,18 1/2'' overall. No sheath yet, I might make one myself for this one.
O K you bowie guys what do you think of this one?

Don that is one of the prettiest bowies I have ever laid eyes on. Absolutely flowing and elegant lines that belie it's substantial proportions. I'm just about speechless. :eek: :eek: And I haven't even gotten to the terrific hamon, the outstanding mosaic fittings or the first rate mammoth scales. Wow. I may just have to drive down to Chicago. It's only 10 hours.

Now thats a knife! You've got me wondering how many 7-11's i'd have to rob to own that. :eek:

If you laid out ten of the finest bowies on a table this one would still command your eye. Wonderful!

I like 'em thin, sleek, and dangerous. Watchout for this one!

Roger and Michael I would like to see both of you in Chicago, it should be a very good show and probably will become one of The major custom shows.

Wow, you continue to amaze me. I see you'll be at the NYC Custom Knife Show... I hope you have some bowies there. :D
 
Don, seeing that knife in person is going to be one of the highlights of that show! Can't wait to see it...I'll try hard not to drool, but no promises!

IMHO, your finest bowie yet, Don. I can't think of a thing I don't love about this one, except that I probably can't afford it.

Keep the fixed blades coming, Don. I knew we'd get you back from the folder side eventually! :)
 
Sweet piece! It just so happens I favor the long, sleek fighter style bowie over the massively built ones and this one is definitely all that. Great design that really compliments the material choice. On the other hand, the knife would still shine even with more simple attire. Well done.

The whole knife is a knock-out, but that blade!!!!!!!!!!! :eek: :cool: :D
 
Dangit Don! I just fell off my seat after seeing the first pic... good thing my jaw had already dropped down there to cushion my fall! ;)
That is one of the most beautiful bowies I have ever seen... and I look forward to drooling all over it and myself at the show.
 
Great looking Bowie Don!!!! It is stunning, I love the overall flow and the mosiac damascus just sets it off.
