Man, these makers are throwin' heat lately...what a great time to be a fixed-blade lover. Duck...bro, this blade is freaking sweet.

Nowing the price of that C Tek

this is a hell of a deal

I ran home at lunch to retrieve my knife from the mailbox...I also had a bird-n-trout from another custom maker here on the forum waiting for me, so today is like Christmas for me opening my mailbox! I've got to say, as a general note, the makers on this forum are simply amazing talents and better men...and my only regret is that it took until quite recently for me to join Bladeforums and realize that these people are so easily accessible here - my collection would contain a lot less production knives than it does, that's for sure.

Now on Wayne specifically, I am especially happy to have found you here sir. This knife is so much better than I was even hoping for. It's my first and only C-Tek handle, and the way it interacts with light is unlike any other material I've seen...and your use of the yellow & black liners brings the handle to the perfect width - that's what really surprises me about this knife, I can't believe how comfortable the handle is - I thought for sure I'd have my pinky hanging off, and I would've been cool with that, but no, my entire hand fits just right. The blade of course is very sharp and the finish you put on it is great...hell, even your name is perfectly placed and tasteful on the blade.

If it's alright with you Wayne, I'd like to contact you in the next few months and ask you to make a father & son pair of knives for my oldest boy (he'll be turning 15) and I. I don't want the knives to be identical as I know you never build the same knife twice anyhow, but I was hoping that you could etch his name on his blade (either under your name or maybe on the opposite side of the blade) to personalize it for his birthday. We can discuss that later in private, I'm just so excited I had to throw that out there now.

Thanks again for the great knife Wayne!!
