Really nice, just wondering if the smaller scales to expose the the tang is of purely aesthetic reasons? Very cool design and I like the blade shape.

I like the exposed tang on some knives !! Sometimes it's for aesthetic reasons and sometimes I will have a small set of really nice scales and I can fit them this way.
