I was watching some reviews about that knife on YouTube and I was convinced it was a good value for money knife. I ordered through DHgate and received the knife +/- 6 weeks later...
anyhow after opening the box and the first flipping I immediately detected up and down blade play...that is not all.
The lock bar insert is held back by only one screw as opposed to two screws that were posted on the site photos. Also the logo etched on the blade was not the same as in their photos, my knife came with free additional Chinese writing too.
I contacted the seller and he wanted me to send back the knife for a full refund. The problem is that in my country shipping is expensive and the safest way to send back that knife would have cost me USD 125.00.
Seller was willing to pay UPON RECEIPT OF KNIFE... consequently I was having to spend USD 210.00 and still no knife.

I have not sent back the knife but instead gave a very bad feedback.

My main concern is that a lot of these so called reviewers on YouTube are giving the wrong advice and some are there for a quick buck too.

upon opening the knife I also found that the stop pin was hollow and threaded but was not held in place by two screws but was held in the scales with two matching holes. The strength of that hollow stop pin is very questionable and it would have been a much stronger stop pin if it was held with screws. I am pretty sure that it was originally designed to accommodate screws but they found it cheaper to just bypass that extra step.

A word of advice stick to reputable makers, I have been tempted once too often to try out and most of the time I had bad surprises with original or clone Chinese stuff.

I have a few CH knives and they seem to be decent. I haven't taken them apart and they've only had light use, but I've had no issues with them. How ironic would it be if you got a counterfeit CH knife? I don't have the 3504, but I have the 3504 mini. I'll try to take a look and see if the stop pin is hollow on mine.

CH is a real mystery. On one hand it looks like they make good, original designs, but Mo2 also found evidence that they were displaying a clone of a Zieba front flipper on their Instagram page. I'm not sure what to think about CH at this point, but I'm trying to learn more about them.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I hope your next knife meets expectations!

There are some pictures of another 3504 in this thread: http://www.bladeforums.com/threads/ch-knives-ch-3504-wow.1510700/

You might want to take a look and compare yours to the one in those pictures.

The fact that so little is known about CH leaves a 100% chance of there being counterfeits out there. The CH3504 has been around long enough and had enough interest shown. The legit version only has CH in larger letters on the blade grind and S35VN stamped near the pivot. I looked briefly at them and saw some sellers claiming 9cr steel which made more sense at the price, so my curiosity was squashed immediately. I just assume every one of them is not S35VN. I know some people claim it acts as it was, but I've not seen the hard evidence of lab testing, nor have I seen any in depth edge retention testing, or even a Rockwell Hardness test. Please point me to any of this if it has been verified. I honestly haven't given it a thought in over a year.

I am the person who did the latest review here as mentioned by Hackenslash. I am not a shill. I purchased mine.

The single screw for the steel insert in the frame lock is a real change in design, not because of counterfitting. The stop pin is also hollow in mine but I was not worried as the walls are very thick, it is not cheap thin tubing. The new logo has three Chinese characters in addition to the new shaped logo. You can see this from the CH knives instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/ch_knife/

DH Gate and ebay and every other online sales site are all cesspools of thievery and fakes and cons. Amazon isn't much better. With DH Gate you only need to make a complaint officially with DH Gate. If you don't come to an agreement with the seller, DH Gate will refund your money. This has been my experience.

Luve them knives was probably where you saw it. Very bad channel that promotes clones and other bad knives. All he does is flips them a few times and says they are better than the real thing. And he has so many followers that think he's a God. All its doing is making the market worse for knives.
Mo2 also found evidence that they were displaying a clone of a Zieba front flipper on their Instagram page. I'm not sure what to think about CH at this point, but I'm trying to learn more about them.
If you look, they copy spinner knives now and also the millet torrent (which is not an exact replica but the same exact design language) . They did the same thing with the skull knife they make. Since ch was from Kizer he used the same idea on his ch knife that Kizer did. The difference is someone designed the knife Kizer made and ch used the idea and made it different. Is that wrong? No. The ch skull looks better too. But come on use your own ideas.

Only a company that takes others design language. They don't have any of their own ideas.

Also dhgate will sell your info, I just went to buy cheap fitbit cables and got spam few days after. I just found out about Privacy dot com, I would try that if you use dhgate. But in any case that place and aliexpess are full of crappy clones. Don't do it. They are all bad. Don't fall for the youtubers. They get free knives to do these reviews and the people who pay for them don't know anything about knives let alone don't care about clones and how bad they are for everyone from getting ripped off, to hurting the user to being unreliable etc. And it's just wrong to copy.

They just got m390 in so they could raise prices. Be careful not to fall for that junk.

When you're gullible and cheap, you end up wasting money.

Sorry but I have zero empathy on this situation. i don't believe in a $9,999 brand new Porsche. Or in a $19.99 S35VN full Ti knife.

Be real.

Just to be real, the CH3504 is claimed to be S35VN which seems possible to me from my experience so far, and it costs $85 instead of $19.99. I would send it in to have it tested by the person in my review thread, but he said domestic only and I am in Chile.

I'm sending in three CH knives; one claiming S35VN, one D2 and one AUS8. When I get results back, they'll be shared with everyone.

I also have the said knife, but from an older batch with an older logo.
Mine also has one screw on the insert, no blade play at all though.
If you believe Kizer are using S35VN steel, you could believe CH are using it as well.
But only a spectral analysis could tell what steel it actually is.

That was just an absurd price given as an absurd reference to emphasize the absurdity of absurd people that believe they can get absurdly good knives at an absurd price point =)

~$60 S35VN Kizers are all over the dealers: http://www.bladehq.com/item--Kizer-Folding-Knife-Bamboo-Etched--26303
LAPG TBFK (which abbreviates The Best F@#$ing Knife btw) claims to have blades made from S35VN at $35 price point - and everybody are eating it up.
So why couldn't ~$80 CH knife have that steel?

Yeah that luvthemknives guy is definitely on the top of the heap when it comes to pushing the clones and copies. I cant listen to that frogmouth for more than a few minutes anyway.I just hate to think how many people he is steering into buying these clones copies and fakes.
