China re-visited

I have several of the imported Bucks, they are very well made.
The Nobleman 327 is scary sharp right out of the box,fit and finish are great.
I gave four away as gifts to guys that buy imported junk knives, cheap steel no heat treat ,they love them .
I have the new Buck fillet knives ,made in China and they are as good and maybe better than U.S.A knives.
I was unable to use them this summer, but will give them a workout this winter.

This is just too funny! You are praising Chinese production without knowledge of prior U.S. production? Without owning, or at the very least handling earlier U.S. made Buck knives, it's probably difficult for you guys to understand. If you like Chinese made Buck stamped knives, then enjoy 'em. Different strokes for different folks. That's what makes this big blue marble spin.
I'm saying the MiC Bucks seem like decent knives. Would you care to explain how they are "garbage"?

The MiC Winchester slipjoints on the peg hooks next to the Bucks at Wal-Mart strike me as garbage. They have thin, weak blades, poorly finished, and crummy steel. The Bucks are considerably better finished, and more solid knives.

The one American made Schrade I've owned (and I'm sorry I bought it) is a Cliphanger liner lock. The blade wobbles like a weeble, the lock is flimsy and overall, it's a very weak knife. Compared to a MiC Buck linerlock like the Ghost Rider, it's a joke. The Buck is more solid all around. I believe I could probably take the Buck and smash the Schrade into pieces with it.

Though lacking in the pride of ownership and collectability areas,Buck China made folders are excellent.I've taken them apart almost hoping they were junk. The liners are thick and strong, the nickel silver is good quality, and the blades take and hold an edge very well. The Rough Rider and Magnum knives are of similar quality.

I don't believe they are...they are!
we get it, you hate the China made Bucks. You have opinions like everybody else... At the end of the day thats all they are, your proof might not mean a whole lot to someone who likes their foreign made buck and it has performed well for them.
all i can say is my sons Buck Nobleman is a damn fine knife, but i'm not gonna get hostile if nobody agrees with me, live and let live...
