love the market!......man that kinda looks like a store we SHOULD have had back home in GA.

You got turtles for turtle stew...like 8-9 differents types of meat in the turtle alone.

FROG LEGS, now I am not sure if catching isnt half the fun, but that is cool and time shaving.

WHat are those under the turtles? Snakes or eels?

I see why ya'll stay so healthy with all the veggies in the diet:thumbup:

Great pics............ thanks lachine!

eels,we Chinese also eat snakes.
BTW,1 RMB is equal to USD0.15,you can count how much these vegetables and so so are.The unit of measurement is 500g.

I myself have caught, cleaned and eaten frogs, and turtles.

No matter where your from.....Hogs like to eat;):D

thanks again:thumbup:

Sometimes we forget while cruising the aisles at the Piggly Wiggly that in most of the world meat is meat, not just chicken, beef and pork, OK lamb too. I still wish I had been there for the first time a man ate an oyster, what the hell was he thinking?! They hadn't even invented Tabasco sauce yet! These photos show a different and varied selection of food items from China. Don't see no chitterlings or crawdads but it's a nice layout anyway! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much for posting these pictures! I think China is a mystery to a lot of us, and your photos are not something we see every day!

This was a lovely way to start my morning! :)
