Chineese $1 Credit card knife-tool

For my needs, these types of wrench are near useless. They have little bite on any particular nut or bolt, and if any significant force is applied, the tool and/or the nut tends to get damaged. Sure, it's pocketable. It's also only really useful on nuts and bolts that I can already turn by hand.

I'm curious about this and tried my Pocketwrench II on a rusted license plate bolt. While it hasn't rusted completely shut, it's most definitely too hard to turn with a bare hand. The Pocketwrench worked, and the bolt was not stripped nor damaged.

Another reason for me to carry the pocketwrench is to fasten / loosen screws with non-captive nuts. Multitool turns the screw, pocketwrench holds the nut.

I just always remeber to carry a tool box in my car or truck. All the tools I have in it work way better than any multi-tool. If I break down somewhere I can fix the problem or maybe someone who stops will know how.

I always have a toolbox in my car. Multitools, folders, and other pocket tools are the stuff I always have on my person.

A folder is nowhere near as efficient as a kitchen knife to process food, but unlike the kitchen knife it's available at all times (in my pocket).
