Out since '72. Screwed up my knees at Case Springs in Pendleton. Now I spend a fair amount of my time at the VA.

*drools* Now that would be pretty good... Albeit you could get real japanese handmade knives that are made same principle as they made Katana's for centuries in that price I presume...

But still, Cookie Knife set in infi... I would buy one ^^

don't trust the japanee and their ginsu!!! they may slice the can and tomato, but in the movie "hero", jet li slices about 100000 arrows with his chinese blade!

ps- maybe Jerry Busse can do colaboration with chinese cleaver factory?!!?

the full flat grind of the cleaver is optimum for deanimating those food items!:thumbup:

When I was 11 my parents weren't too keen on buying me the knives I wanted, so I'd go to Goodwill second hand stores and buy kitchen knives.

One of my favorites was a small cleaver that had an angled tip that made it work for throwing, anywhoo I made a sheath out of cardboard and ducktape, and actually carried that thing around all the time. Used it to chopp down trees, and learned to throw with it.

Best $2 I ever spent!

thinking of modding the handle. drill a hole for a lanyard. i better check with the factory to see if it will void the chinese cleaver factory warranty.

also trying to find the nuclear dcbb variation of this model!

Guy, fwiw, The knife the OP is referring to to is Not a clever. It's a Chinese chef knife called a cho doh.
