Chinese Spyderco vs Byrd?

What are the differences between a made in China Spyderco and a Byrd other than design? Is one better than the other?

The Byrds are mostly copies of Spyderco mainstays like the Endura, Delica, and Dragonfly. The PRC Spydies are their own, stand-alone line. The PRC-made Spydercos have better F&F than the Byrds. Unfortunately, the PRC Spydies are liner locks...and I don't carry liner locks.
