Chinese Ti-lock !!!

Who buys these for $160?? If you can afford to spend almost $200 on a knife you can wait a bit longer and get the real deal. Makes absolutely no sense to me. Sure if they were 20 bucks I could see people who would never spend decent money on a knife buying them to try out, but $160??? I just do not get it.

Edited to add:

Looks like these also have kershaw's KVT bearing system in them as well. Two rip offs in one knife.

Its getting worse and worse every time I see these Chinese ripoffs, it must be really frustrating for CRK  I know I would be

Well, at least it is easy to spot with "TITANIUM" machined into the side.

looks obviously like a fake, BUT, it's damn well made, enough to scare
why don't they make their own ones, the machining on these late knives seems good, if they made their own designs or collabs with their own brand it would sell well I believe

Who is selling these? I would like to see how it's advertised and the given specs. With the exception of the "Titanium" instead of the "Idaho Made" it looks identical to me from the pix. Oh yes, I believe the bearing system is an integral part of my CRK Ti-Lock so the knock-off is that much faithful to the original.

That's pretty unbelievable. I'm really surprised they even went to the trouble of replicating the Hawkes clip.

I gotta hand it to 'em....that is a pretty good-looking knockoff. But yeah, why not create their own with a different twist instead of trying to copy? With such an innovative and new lockup, I would be extra wary to pick up anything but the original.

This is part of a new wave of knock-off of supposed higher quality per their specs they are using S30V and the the machining is suppose to be better/cleaner than the the other knock-off(Regular Sebenza fake).

Thanks for the info. I would really appreciate it if you would share the source and the specs with all of us.

That is all I know about the knife apart from what one can infer from the pictures. This model barely surfaced up this week so I'm guessing the people over at guns.ru(forums) dont even have it yet.

LOL.

Personally, I like chris reeve AND his knives too much to purchase a fake, and for that matter, i value the American economy too much to spend my money overseas. That said, if I WAS going to buy a fake knife, i sure as hell wouldnt shell out $160 for it. I've seen little mistakes like that one (TITANIUM) in the past on other copies, like they screw up the steel stamp or type of metal used in a particular spot (looks like the washers on this one are off). From what I've heard, the quality of the copies being produced is high, if these bootlegging bastards actually thought of an original design, in a TI frame-locking folder, I'm sure they'd turn a fairly decent profit through the American market. lol.. but not from me. Surprised they made this before the umnum though.

Another thing that gets me about this fake is that the seller actually has side by side shots with a real Ti-Lock.
