Chinook, Blackhawk, & Renegade

These three knives have almost the same design. Why was the Chinook introduced? Why not continue the production of the other two models using the CPM440V steel?

Hmmm... the Renegade may still see a revival as a liner lock folder with remaining parts that are still lying in some dark corner at Spyderco...

If the Renegade makes a comeback, I want it to have a compression lock. I'd get a couple at least.

Hi Backup. Actually, the designs are quite different, though appearance is similar.

Steve. If we make any Renegades & Blackhawks aout of old parts, there is no way to alter to a compression lock.
