Sal,

Congratulations! The Chinook is a heck of a knife -- great materials, excellent fit and finish, incredible lock...

Reminds me of my Crawford KFF with incredible heft, solid feel and great ergonomics.

My only nit pick would be that for a MBC, the top swedge should be ground a little thinner like the Native. Those who are into bowie play can then sharpen to their liking.

An excellent knife for the $. Would love a drone for this.

BTW: What's with the #655 on my blade?

Sing, is the Chinook about the same weight as the CRKT KFF? How does it carry in your pocket? I had a KFF and found it to be very heavy for daily carry.

Thanks,
Kevin

Kevin,

The KFF is about .5" longer and 1/8" thicker in the handle. The Chinook is not as heavy but close. It's a beefy knife. Either you like it that way or you don't.
