Chip off the old block!!!

Oh man... :eek::eek::eek:

You really need to call Amy and or Jerry ASAP.

Excellent.

Now The Shop will learn more about the knives. It is through careful inspection of failures that a product is improved.

Fear nothing. Busse Combat has your back.:)

Yep, they will fix you right up.

It will look brand new when you get it back. :D

man, I've never seen that happen to a infi knife before.
The busse peeps should have your back on that :)

Very unusual to see a actual chip like that. Jerry will definitely want it back for examination, and replacement, of course.

btw, if you use the IMG tags ( the fourth one down under each image in Photobucket), it will display in your post.

What the heck did you hit, something really hard I presume. Maybe an air pocket in the steel??? That's a first that I've seen around here. I'm sure your throughly covered by Busse.

I would assume you hit something harder than wood (or ice)! Send her in to Busse and they'll take care of it.

This same knife has been back to Busse before,a smaller chip last time,so maybe there is something wrong within the INFI!i also have a FFBM which holds its edge super well, yet this NMSFNO is really hard to get sharp and when its sharp it doest stay sharp for long!FFBM is easy to sharpen and stays sharp, just like BUSSE says!

That will sharpen right out.;)

No worries Jerry or Amy will be along shortly to give you the info to send it in

Eric

How did you recover the chip? I'm curious about the incident in question. WE NEED TO KNOW MAN!

The chip was in a branch,so i must of hit something hard before that to weaken it then the branch did the rest1Does anyone think the cold would have summit to do with it?hacking at ice and the freezing temperature!

Impressive to do that to a NMSFNO.

This is why the warranty is worth just as much as the blade is to me.
