I chipped a blade from 440C steel (its a pretty deep chip, something 7 mm long and 4 wide) can i fix it somehow? I have only limitet tools. May I grind it away with a angle grinder , beeing carefull not to overheat?

do not use an angle grinder on a finished knife. it will not take long to mess up the blade and it will leave your blade in worse shape than if you got the proper material to fix it.
get some 3m wetordry sandpaper in 120-280-320 and 400 grit and a piece of glass. wet the paper to stick it to the glass and work through the grits until the chip is gone and the edge is sharp.
About the only thing you can do is grind it away.Make sure you grind slowly . dunk in water often. See that the grinding produces nice smooth curves so the knife looks OK. In your case the blade will be at least 4mm narrower.
There used to be a store in NYC that sold seconds .I fixed a number of damaged knives , Henckels, for myself and others with a grinder and ended up with like new knives for very low price.
