i've made the comment that horn is quite slippery under certain circumstances, i do believe... if you polish it up REAL good, and make it all happy display case shiny, well, it's going to be a bear to hold, especially with leather gloves and it might just well turn 180 degrees in your hand on deflection.>>>>>>>> Bladite

Never noticed horn was slippery- but I don't use gloves very often either.

Beauty knife. Mine is by Kumar. That thing is a worker. I've pried the boards of a picnic table with mine. Took all my weight laterally, and didn't break. Cut through a penny, and some hurricane fencing wire too. Goodun.
 
I moved the photos, and I'm still loving this blade... :D :thumbup:

I used it the other day to trim the hedges, because I can... :D

The electric shears stayed in the shed... the CAK got the job done.

Looks like BirGhorka is still cranking out good stuff.:thumbup: HI khuks are meant to be used.

Take it from one who has seen his fair share of khukuris go his way when Uncle Bill would have his "BBOD" scrambles.

You can say that again (the value and performance part).

I only have one...now...which I got after long research and advice from of a few of you Khuk-Nuts. I am VERY happy with it and cannot believe how much knife Yangdu offers for how little money.

Glad to see Rat-30 has been bitten by the same bug.

Makes sense. We're also both INFI addicts. :D

I started this thread a year ago - the Chiruwa Ang Kola is doing very well, indeed. :D :thumbup:


As soon as funds permit, I will be adding to the HI khukri fleet. :D
 
I started a short while back and am up to 4 now. Once things settle from our new house purchase I will be adding more.
