Hello all Khukuri people out there. I'm just learning how to use photobucket so I post some pictures from the first chopping session I had with my Chiruwa Ang Khola. The pictures are a few months old. It was a beautiful winter day the knife was new and some light chopping needed to be done. Enjoy.....

sweet khukri. me like muchly...

if you put square-bracket IMG close-bracket foo.jpg square-brack /IMG close-bracket around your URLs there (automatic if you click the little mountain icon up there), you can display them as pictures automagically, though some would prefer thumbnails ... that's why i like imageshack.us (context free plug, really, they don't award bonus points or anything)... automatically creates the thumbnails *AND* the surrounding IBB code too :> free too.

Yes and I seem to get much more firewood chopped in shorter time than before when I only used an axe. Must be the effectiveness of the khukuri in combination with the enjoyment of handling a high quality tool. I get smaller and easier to light pieces also. ;)

Thanks for the tips Bladite. I just picked photobucket at random. I may try imageshack later. :)

I also really like the first pic. It just makes the khuk look more rugged being buried in the snow.

Dont worry! Last time we were beaten by England was in 1968 I think. We will see tomorrow. :cool:
