Chisel hawk

I often work on log and timber frame homes so i made this hawk for getting into corners and small places.
Forged from wrought iron with a damascus bit from 1095&15N20 damascus leftover piece that i had in the bin.
The o.a.l. is 5 1/2" with a 1 3/4" cutting edge. I think i will haft it with a piece of lilac:eek:

What you using for the haft?

Thanks i'm going to use a piece of dead lilac wood from my lilac bush it is very dry and as hard as any local wood i have worked with and it has nice purple srtipes.;)

I always hated lilac...Maybe it has a use after all.... I'll cut down one of the neighbors.......OOOOps. Did I say that???
