Hello Gentlemen...looking for recommendations for a tool: chisel/knife, like a sharper and more refined E.O.D. Breacher ...! I looked at the following knives / tools.

- Woodsman's Pal Pro Tool Chisel Knife
- becker bk3 tac tool
- Mora,chisel knives
- Bahco wrecking knife.
- and few others...

So far the closest has been the TURLEY KNIVES - # 10 Haw Creek, which is pretty awesome with one minor detail...I am not willing or able to fork out $500.00 USD or in CAD $100'000.00... LOL
Any other products that have been used and tested..?
I want it to sit on the out side of my jacket/ pack & be the grab & hack/chop and split tool. Not worried about the looks to much, just not anything over 12" long. I was thinking it will be used for snipping rope/twine, shaving bark, blaze marks, quick kindling maker, hacking branches, digging roots, poking bee's nests and bears...! the usual daily bush walk stuff... way up in the great white north...! Thank You for any help Guys...& ladies if there are any reading this.
THANK YOU ... DFK

It almost sounds like you could benefit from a two-in-one setup... a smaller knife riding on a larger. Like a BRKT Bravo with one of their smaller offerings. Or (a much more affordable and fairly priced option) a big Becker with a little Becker.

Moved to General Knife Discussion.
The Exchange section if for buying, selling, and trading respectively. Recommendations really do belong and get more traction here.

Do you have a specific probable need for a chisel end? If not your options will open up significantly.

Also...and trying to carefully phrase this in an attempt to avoid being quoted elsewhere ( :) )...do you want a blade length under 12" or total length?

An idea of price range would help too :)

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you have exhausted the options on the production knife list. Chisel tips are tough to find.

My first thought would be to get a Condor knife that mostly suits your needs, and grind the tip to what you want, or have it modded by somebody else.

Likewise, any knife that comes pretty close, except for that chisel tip, could be modified by somebody. I thought of Condor first, because 1075 steel is easier to work than a lot of others.

Nighthaxan (he's here on Bladeforums) is making a lot of really unique stuff for very reasonable prices. Maybe talk to him about a custom, and get yourself a piece that will be worth 5X the price in a couple years, even with some scuff marks on it. :D

The Becker BK3 is a beast.

But, for the tasks listed, the BK9 would be a much better choice ...

There's a reason it's called the 'King'.

Modify it to a chisel tip.

You could always have Charlie Mike make you one!! He does some great ones that are right in your wheelhouse.
