I ordered special all white 100% cotton non-elastic socks for my 91 year old father on November 9th. Paid in full on their website.
Their site states: Most orders are processed within 48-72 hours. Delivery times range from 5 to 12 'business' days (days when businesses are open). Delivery will be via the U.S. Postal Service or via United Parcel Service within the United States. International orders are shipped only via the U.S. Postal Service. Because of custom regulations in certain countries, packages may be delayed 2-4 weeks.I called again the week of November 23rd. 'Marci', apparently the only employee in the office, apologized and told me my order had apparently 'slipped through the cracks' and that she would ship it out right away. I asked her to expedite the shipping speed for my trouble since it was their mistake.
I called again November 30, and again this morning. I requested that she either give me a refund or deliver the damm socks. (My dad can only wear these due to combat wounds suffered during WW2. The nursing home 'lost' several other pair, he is home for the time being). I was told she can't give me a refund. There is also, surprise, surprise, No Tracking Number!
Funny, because their website states: As you may know, ChockCatalog.com offers a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If there is a defect, or if you would like to return an item, please e-mail us at orders@chockcatalog.com or call one of our friendly sales representatives at 800-222-0020.
So, outside of contacting my CC and disputing charges, what else can I do? I"ve rarely had any problems ordering online before
