Thank you, that was a great story. Reminds me of some old karate teachers I got to know.

If I recall right Daniel Inosanto wrote about an old man in Manila he came across. The old man was walking with a cane and was harassed by a youth gang. Daniel thought that he should help the old man but soon he decided that there was no need. The old man could handle the situation just fine. Daniel found out the old man was an escrima master and had been an important resitance leader during the war.
