Cholla cactus drop point fixed blade pocket(SOLD)

This is another one of my smaller hunter ,boot,fixed blade pocket knife. The blade has been differentially heat treated and has a very faint hammon line.
The handle is West Texas cholla (choya) cactus wood .

BLADE-1095 differentially heat treated,hollow ground drop point
HANDLEWest Texas cholla(choya)cactus wood,stabilizedwith very dark blue resins
BOLSTERS-416 SS spot welded to liners
LINERS-410 ss pinned to tang
DIMENTIONS-Blade-3 1/2"
Handle-3 1/4"
Overall-7"
SHEATH-Horse hyde with belt/pocket/boot clip

Great looking combination of materials and design. That knife has a lot of personality.
 
Wow!! I had lots of family around Tucson growing up and have seen lots of cactus wood. Never occurred to me all these years later that it could be stabilized and used for handles. Looks really good! Tons of character in that knife. Nice work:thumbup:
 
Let me tell you guys, I got to see this knife in person, the handles are some of the coolest knife scales I have ever seen. The pics do this knife no justice.
