Here is a fun poll where we can hopefully determine which features of the three most discussed sebenzas (the Regular, the 21, and the 25) could be put together to make the most popular and crowd pleasing Sebenza ever. You will see the choices are laid out so you choose either one or the other in a logical order (note that some options have up to 4 choices). After a few days of running the poll we might be able to tell CRK what features the 'Sebenza 28' should have if they want to sell thousands more than they already do, with less complaining from the community. :D

Anyways.....this is just entertainment, so have some fun with it. I'm curious to see what sort of knife emerges if we take the singular vision of Chris Reeve out of the equation, and hand the design reigns over to the fans of his work.

Please respect the goal of this poll, and only choose one of each category of options. Thanks! :)

Done, I want a thick stock, high hollow/flat ground, plain jane Regular with ceramic lock and 25 style pivot.....with double silver thumb studs. :)

That would be sweet Haze!. I wanted to include a thumbstud choice, but the poll maxes out at 20 options.

Well I guess what I like just about everybody does to right now. This is a great idea for a poll. I love the 21 bushing system with the blade of the 25 shaped like a regular in plane jane attire.

For me, the Classic is about as good as it gets. Hard for me to improve on that one. But I would like to see the next Sebenza, if there is one, have a bushing pivot and replaceable steel insert on the lock bar. I'm not saying the steel insert is needed - I just like it. No ceramic ball or inlays for me, thanks. No Idaho. Heck, just keep producing the 21 and leave it at that, but add the insert and lose the Idaho. Maybe FFG. Yeah, that sounds good.

On April 1, I will be announcing the Sebenza 30. Stay tuned.

Cool idea.
And boy am I glad this is only hypothetical.
I wonder if the man himselfs smiles when he sees this.
Greets.

Very good Cody, thanks. Give me 21 Pivot Bushing System, 25 spec thick blade, High Hollow (flat) ground (25), Regular 'Bull-nose' shape, 25 style aggressive, Regular "traction scallops" shape gimping, '25 style' ceramic Ballannual" style single inlay. Thanks again Cody, can you tell me when it will be shipped or do I have to call Heather?

Good poll Cody.

I want a combination of the 21 (Insingo blade shape and pivot bushing) and the 25 (blade stock, grind, gimping and ceramic lock) without any pretty extras.....plain Jane finishing is just fine with me. Maybe you should ask CRK to put a design your own Sebenza customizer with these options on the CRK website. CRK could charge a little extra for a custom Sebenza and give you a commission on each knife sold........

After holding my first Sebenzas yesterday and purchasing my first one in the same day, I'd say a normal small 21 just scaled up all around to a blade length of 3.25"-3.375" would be hard to resist.

Pivot bushing, either thickness, high hollow, bullnose, 25 jimping, try something new with the slabs, 25 ceramic ball, optional inlays, lots of blue anodized features

Thick stock, hollow ground, bushing pivot, 25-grooves, split inlay, double studs, 21 clip, ceramic detent and interface, 25 style blade, aggressive jimping, stonewash finish scales, stonewashed grind and polished blade flats, green anno on lanyard/spacer/stud, polished hardware, stonewashed clip. That's my ideal sebenza right there if it has Snakewood or Ebony inlays.

The only deciding factor left for me on the 25 is the inlay, other than that, it is perfect to me. The close draw is the 21 bushing system. Now that I have to send a knife back to CRK, the pivot takes a win because it's preferable to do it at home vs having to send the knife away. The pivot was not good but now I have a perfect 25 in hand, the 21 looks terrible.

Looks to me like if CRK would build a 25 with a bushing pivot (and preferably one hex size fasteners) a lot of people would be happier. Shave the finger bumps and I would be too.

Nicely put! The 25 all the way except the pivot. Add an annual style inlay and I will buy 2!!

After our last conversation, this is a great idea. It will be very interesting to see what develops.

If they were made like that I would own one or two already.
