Choose your own Sebenza! Lets design the perfect CRK folder by committee

OK, so from the poll results we can determine that a subsection of the members of this forum would consider the following to be the "ultimate sebenza" if voting as a group. Not all people would like all the features, but it would please the most people at once:

- 21 style pivot bushing (by a long shot)
- 25 spec thick blade-stock
- High Hollow Grind (25 flat ground - clear winner)
- Either 'Regular' Bullnose or 21 Spear point shape (equal votes to date)
- 21 style plain slabs (no finger grooves)
- 25 ceramic ball lock
- no inlays

Pretty much splits the features of the 21 and 25 right down the middle....interesting

Although I would like the Insingo blade, I would for sure buy one of these "Ultimate Sebenzas" if it were made by CRK.

Not surprising at all. Add the thicker blade stock plus near-flat grind to a 21, and it would outsell the 25 IMHO.

Looks to me like if CRK would build a 25 with a bushing pivot (and preferably one hex size fasteners) a lot of people would be happier. Shave the finger bumps and I would be too.

That'd be hard to beat but I would request that mine have NO ceramic ball interface, just plain Ti on steel.

Just give me a 25 insingo with the bushing system, heat treated lock bar and the 21 style inlays. The blade grind and stock aren't as important to me. Heck, I haven't handled the 25's pivot yet, but I'm sure it would be fine.

If I could have a 25 blade with a pivot bushing and no finger grooves, and an annual style micarta inlay, I think I'd be set.

21 Spear-Point shape
25 style aggressive gimping
25 Finger Grooves
25 style' ceramic
no inlays

And the blade in damascus. =D

To my ears, no truer words have ever been spoken (written) on this forum. The 21 is certainly a high water mark, though many would argue otherwise.
