choosing a good timber axe

I like to do a lot of timberframing and tree felling. Also traditional woodworking. Wonder if anyone might suggest and axe that would last a lifetime and perform flawlessly....Some jobs would include felling, branching, hewing and etc.

Be wellcome. The small or the scandinavian forest axe made by Gransfors Bruks won't disappoint you, either for efficiency and durability. Pricey, of course.
