However, if you're willing to give slipjoints a try there are several small models that pack far more utility than you'd think.
Peanuts are great, very pocket friendly. I like the ones Case makes, specially their CV one with red bone, but the SS isn't that bad either.
A bit bigger than the Peanut but still light and comfortable to carry, Case's Sodbuster Jr. is a lot of knife for little cash. I've got lots of more expensive folders, but my Soddie Jr. somehow manages to get some pocket time, even with the hard competition.
You should take a look at the Victorinox Alox Cadet, as well. It's slim and light, but it has some nice features (screw drivers, cap lifter and can opener) besides the main blade. The regular Cadet comes with a nail file, the Cadet II has a small blade. The copper alox Cadet is really nice, quite different from the regular red handled SAKs.
