Choosing Double Cut instead of a Standard Finish?

For me it is 99% because I like the look of DC or Satin.

The other 1% is that if I use these knives I use them for camping and preparing food; and I just have a thing about coating flaking off into my food. Not that it would happen but I have a real phobia about it:o .

Well sure, that's because we in the paint industry continue to use lead, chromium, and strontium pigments; just so we can poison our customers.

I'm working out a deal with my buddy that has the HUGE cabinet and everything I'd need with it right now....how does a D/C clip point SHSH sound? :D

Please, go ahead and DCBB that bad boy before Mark sends it to me. :D

Yeah! Just got off the phone with Amy and was able to upgrade the blade finish to Double Cut.

Hmm. Appears I'm not alone in this...no desire to eat coating here, either!

noob questions:
What exactly is the satin finish? Is it a blade that would be coated that has been blasted instead? And the double cut is one that has been finished more like any blade (non-Busse blade) that is not going to be coated?

What other differences in the finish are there, with the double cut?

Someone said the Sus Scrofa isn't being made yet? I'm asking because the website says nothing about lead time.

Thanks!
The other differences... I'd forgotten that the extra finishing /different grind I was thinking of were not features of the double cut versions, but of the limited edition Sus Scrofa.
What about the availability? If I order a Sus Scrofa, do they have them in stock - or is that a silly question?

There are may things that wouldn't poison me that I wouldn't want in my food.:grumpy: :barf:

They don't have them in stock. They will make them after they pull them off the website, so it could be several months before you receive your order.

Tan coating, in particular, is delicious. Tastes like saffron.

However, I cannot speak in the least as to how Paul's pubic hairs taste.

This is one of the things that fits into the "make it go away" category.

A lot of men shave their pubes to make their man tool look bigger, me, I decorate my bedroom with Barbie furnature.

I need all the help I can get. :D

Barbie? My girl friend hates that B!tch.... she says Barbie has everything:grumpy:

looks to be some sort of mouse or hamster that has been through the clothes dryer.
I just smelled a stank and found it: A mouse had got into the tube leading from the back of my dryer to the outside.....and died. :( YUCK!!!

For the last time....they're BACK HAIRS....and they've now been donated to the "Rick James look alike wig foundation".....went to a good cause. Now to make some rope to sell for more SHBM's :D....

Sad thing for Paul is that no one can.:foot:
Nope...haven't hooked up with too many ladies that have a pube tasting fetish :p THANKFULLY. That might be a little wierd :foot: not like shaving your back with a bowie...but still....wierd. Had a back raker though...took off more hair than the SHBM :(

Thanks all for the input and entertainment. I am liking the looks of Double Cut so much I had to go an order another Scrofa in Double Cut with Tan Linen. Thanks again!
