+(how many votes for the Delica is it now). Anyone care to start a pool before he buys himself an Endura after the Delica?

I'll second the Spyderco Centofante. One of my favorite EDC folders.

Well I love the Buck Northshore ,in fact I have 3, they are very slim in your pocket, anodized aluminum decent size for most medium duty tasks, very light, a Tom Mayo design-the only thing thats a downer for myself is that their 420hc steel (going to retrofit with my own design ats-34 blade) all for about $45-50

Delica and the Leek are both great choices. i bought a mini grip because of all the good reviews I read about around the net and it's just not for me. As for SOG, I don't have a Flash, I've got a twitch and a Blink. Both are good (although a little small for my taste) but not as good as the Spyderco and Kershaw.

good stuff! I think that you will really like the knife a lot. The FRN Delicas are great edc users because they are light, sharp, and slicer kings!

I actually bought a Delica 4 FFG. I like the flat grind a lot more than the saber grind (or at least I think I do). I will for sure be buying more in the near future though. I wonder what blade will be next...

If this is your first EDC, I recommend starting with something cheap but decent. Buy a Kershaw Skyline because it's just the right size (3 1/8" blade) and weight (2.3 oz) for EDC. If you feel underpowered or find it dulling too quickly, then upgrade to the Delica.

very good advice sir, i have a skyline,by far my favorite kershaw i own, the spyderco is an excellent choice as well...and the benchmade just recently got into my edc rotation as i just bought it. but out of the three. i carry the delica 1st, benchmade 2nd and skyline 3rd if i had to number them. cant make a bad decision out of the 3 imo

It's still a FRN delica. FRN is referring to the handle material (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon). Just thought I'd throw that out there. ;)

lol, I meant that I didn't want to buy another blade because of one being insufficient. I will still buy more blades for different purposes whilst still using them equally. I just don't want to toss one aside because I don't think it is good enough

I wouldnt. In my experience, SOG clips have been atrocious and prone to either bending or simply not fitting around the lip of the pocket. This is not even mentioning the other negatives of SOG folders. Of course, this is just my opinion and not the WORD.

The Delica is a GREAT choice. Ive bought probably 15-20 of them in the past simply as gifts to friends and family. At $40, it's well worth the price. My favorite of the Delica line is the Delica 3, but thats just my preference.

Congrats on the Delica purchase...sounds like you got the same one as me. :) If you're looking for another blade...you really should consider picking up a Kershaw Skyline...amazing little knife for EDC. Very affordable using some great materials...nice grippy G-10...awesome blade...extremely lightweight..

Fantastic choice! I carry a Delica pretty much everyday (Benchmade 530 REI edition with S30V is my other EDC). I like the Delica a lot because of how thick the spine is, all the way to the tip. I used to carry a Kershaw Leek, but the tip was too thin for my preference, actually bent the tip over and then it broke off.
