Choosing your EDC knife

I carry whichever one I feel like. If I know I'm not going to need to use my knife all day, I'll generally carry something smaller and more innocuous like a SAK. If I'm going to be using my knife all day, I'll generally carry something beefier and more comfortable in the hand.

The only two that I consistently carry are an Alox SAK Classic SD on my keychain and a SAK Super Tinker.

I always have a larger locking folder I carry for work, and I rotate randomly between a few knives (RAT 1, Flash II, M21, Endura, CB Leek). I just reach into the nightstand in the morning, and whatever comes out first is what I carry for the day. The CB Leek is relatively new, so I've been mostly carrying that for the past 3-4 weeks to break it in (and try out the CPM-D2).

Outside of work, I rotate randomly between a couple of smaller folders (Delica, Flash I, Chive). Same selection method as above.

I have a couple of specific-purpose knives that I keep around regularly, but I don't really ever carry them on me outside of their specific use. Those are a couple of Opinels for food (cleaned and lubed up with non-toxic cleaners and oil) and a Dozier Folder in my work bag (beater and for lending to others that might otherwise mistreat blades).

i have a ton to pick from but keep sticking with the delica or chive for the office. i have used my kopa, starbenza, native, griptilian, bone collector and my newest which is a sage 2. luckily i never considered carrying any of my auto's, the list would about double.

I carry an Al Mar Falcon lightweight almost everyday. Fits my style of dress and handles most chores easily. When I want something larger, I carry a small Sebeza that is a real workhorse.

Always have the SAK Spartan paired with one of 5 one hand folders. Lately being Benchmade 551H2O with modified washers or Spyerco Endura FFG Brown. There both my newest

I watched a couple of thought-provoking videos on YouTube the other day on the subject of EDC gear: knife, gun, whatever. Made me take a long hard look at what I choose for EDC. Anyone with roughly an hour to kill might be interested in taking a look at this two part series. To be honest, the vids made me curl up a little closer to my SAKs...

ETA:...and my Para 2.
