OMG.

Love these.

Reminds me of a scimitar.

Definitely in, have to think of for how many and what finishes and thicknesses...

And the Skinner looks AWESOME. And an awesome price. Oh man....this is going to cost me a lot

Chop House does look good. I wont be buying both however so now I need to decide whether to go with 3/16 or 1/4. Such a tough decision...

Yes, choices are great! But they're not! Lol. Now I have to pick blade finish and thickness.

I actually think I will be getting one of each thickness this time.

The"skinner" has a great blade profile but I wish it was 1/8 and not 3/16 if its to be an actual skinner. Just my opinion

What are the pro and con of each thickness in terms of it's potential duties differences?

I really like the blade, but I'm not a fan of tan handles.

All kind of good stuff coming from the Busse brothers. That Lean Cut would my choice, but I'm good with my Satin Battle Rat.

I just hope this is a hint to styling of a new INFI Battle Mistress... :D

How about a MUK MISTRESS

and a Basic 9 Mukie

That's EXACTLY what i thought when i saw the "Chop house"... and also, "Wait, no, i just sprang for a Ratweiler and I've already invested in a bunch of S!K models and the Buck Froe is on clearance, and ... oh, man."

Then again, that tan Res-C is kinda ugly...

To tinfoil hat timmy, a kitchen blade? You'd need to cut the edge-thickness down quite a bit if history is predictive of what is to come...

To LadyEarth, while I don't see much difference in potential duties for 3/16 vs 1/4 inch thickness in a blade this size, the latter will be a good bit heavier in the blade for powering through a chop... my guess would be ~14oz vs 17oz but it'll feel like more due to the forward balance-point.

Im in for a 3/16" Chop House. Great all around chopper to hold me over til I get a 13asic 13.
