I'll send an email out to the list, suggesting some dates, see what response we get.
 
The response to the email has not been huge. I will review tonight and see if there is any consensus. Some folk had the impression that this was a 2 day event, with camping.

To Clarify: This has been a one day event. We usually start 10 - 11am, go back in the woods to play with the knives for a bit. Doing that gives us wood for the fire. Then we burn some dogs and have whatever else anybody brought for lunch. After lunch, we set up the safe firing line and break out the boomsticks for more fun.
 
Ah I see, that may be too short for a six hour drive both ways,, hope you guys have fun!!

Well ... umm .. not to make you feel bad or anything .. but before intel440 moved back to NE Ohio and offered to host these GTGs, he used to drive 8 hrs from eastern PA to join us.

and he came Strapped!

I guess it would be easy compared to my 10 hour drive to Blade

I'll wait till some get together is under 1,500 miles lol

I'm in the same boat, would love to go to one of these get-togethers but it seems like they're all way east, and I'm a broke college kid with no car or money :(

Daniel, you should host one to coincide with the Braun Brothers Reunion music festival held in Chalis each year. That would give me two reasons to make the drive to ID.
